Im going to London

Honestly, im not going to London, well .. I wish I could. The whole "im going to London" phrase is this new game I just bought which is called Hellgate London by Flagship Studios. Its a RPG/MMO kinda game from the creator of the Diablo 2 series. This game set in London which is currently in hell-ish chaos, where demons and necro rise up to take over and conquer London, and we The Hellgate Alliance, must stop them at all cause.

Got this game from The Software Boutique (TSB) early this afternoon after both of us pre-ordered the game last week. Before my decision to buy this game, I tried out both the beta test and also the demo, the final verdict, I love every minute of it.

Here are some pictures I taken earlier of HGL. I got the Limited Collector's Edition, which comes with the game DVD, the bonus DVD (featuring the making of ... and also the soundtrack), a very nice looking poster (mine its a templar), a 108pg DarkHorse Hellgate London graphic novel and a Hellgate Alliance iron-on patch.

Some changes

As you guys can see, i have made my blog template today to a Halo 3 theme instead of a XBOX 360 theme. Im really a Halotard right now. I even did some changes to my room, I just bought an open cabinet just to put my 360 games and also the Master Chief helmet. Recently, the Hari Raya festival was upon us. Many of my muslin working frens were on leave for the festival which I had to work extra hours just to replace them, which I do not mind exactly, more pay is always better .. if u know what i meant.

Came across the while i was surfing the net today. It look awesome but as always, I cant get it here. US always gets the good stuff.

Btw, here are 2 games with is a MUST buy for me in November 2007

COD4 : Modern Warfare is a first person shooter (FPS) tactical game, it not as fast as Halo 3 but I will like it anyway. My last FPS tactical game was Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Mass Effect its a role-playing game (RPG) by Bioware, the same peeps who brought Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic series and Jade Empire. Mass Effect will be the best RPG for this year.

Journeyman - Time Changes Everything

This is a new TV series from CBS. Its called Journeyman. The pilot episode just started recently and I have seen the pilot episode. For you guys who enjoyed and loved Quantum Leap, you will certainly enjoy this also. It's something just like Quantum Leap but with AL and Ziggy to lend a helping hand. Instead of travelling into people's body and journey back and forward thru time, Dan Vassar (the character's name) will only travel back thru time very oftenly just to help people. The pilot episode show Dan travelling back to the year Dec 31, 1997 just to help a family which about to get killed by ... im not going to spoile it for you. Go ahead and watch this episode.

HaloTARD and Macgyver Season 1

This whole week im on annual leave and spending my time playing Halo 3 and watching a lot of TV series. Just got Macgyver Season 1 boxed DVD and after watching it does bring back old good memories. So far, I have watched Smallville, Heroes, Airwolf, Stargate Atlantis, Bionic Woman, Journeyman, Supernatural and lotsa more. I have been enjoying myself both on TV series and Halo 3. Cant wait to get my hands on Knight Rider season 1.

Speaking of Halo 3, finally finished the game a few days back in Legendary mode with co-op from Terrorisk and Snoopy, both are XBOX 360 players. Currently im playing the Heroic mode just to collect all the skulls in the game which unlock a very cool armor and head gear for your appearance in matchmaking. I also have been playing alot of ranked matches in matchmaking for H3, currently rank Gunnery Sargeant on level 9. I have already played 130+ ranked matched both on Team Slayer and Lone Wolf. Both are equally fun and challenging.

Okie ... thats all folks ... now back to watching Macgyver. Tata :)

Halo 3 Mega Screen 300" HD Event

Just recently Gamers Hideout (GH) and other few sponsors such as MDEC, Courts and Edifier who organize a huge Halo 3 (H3) event here at Cineleisure Damansara. The event was in the Cathay cinema, 300" of Halo 3 goodness.

Myself and Jasbir arrive there around 6pm and the event starts at 6.30pm. We got out H3 goodie bag which consist of an UNSC green back, a H3 Mega Screen t-shirt made by GH, Edifier headphones and some catalogs.

The night was awesome, we all (the Xbox Community) has a great time taking turns to play H3 on the big screen. We even had a few 2v2 team matches that day, the winner will get H3 green t-shirt and the loser will get a very cool H3 poster. I will post some pictures of the poster and t-shirt later on. In the 2v2 matches, I was paired with Jasbir, he is not very good in H3 yet but he is catching up. Sadly we lost but still obtain a poster for our efforts.

Even our very own PrivateJohn (PJ) came all the way from UK (United Kingdom) just for this event. Great to have to here PJ.

The event lasted until 1am in the morning, we decided to head for supper but both of us was just to tired already. We haed home in the end.

It was a great event. Kudos and thanks goes to Jason, Eddie and Bobby and also all the organizers for organizing this great event. Hope there will be more in the future, perhaps a H3 LAN party end of this year *HINT* *HINT*.
