HD DVD batch #1 arrives

Finally my batch of hd dvd's has finally arrives from Amazon, thanks goes to Zerg for helping me out. Met with him at 1U yesterday and collected it. Was at Starbucks 1U enjoying my iced Caremel Machiato (opps .. dunno if the spelling is correct LOL) with Chicken Fingers Sandwich and Blueberry Snow Donut. Then my stomach did not feel so good ... might be the coffee cuz i drank 2 venti size in a row. LOL.

Anyway decided to hang around at GH (Gamers Hideout) and was so close on getting COD4 (Call of Duty 4) but decided to pass it up till next time.

Got back home to my apartment around 5.30pm, abit sleepy cuz did not slept since last nite, so ... i slept for like 1 hour and could not sleep anymore. That nite, I was eager to watch Superman Returns hd dvd .. and so i did. The PQ (Picture Quality) is good but still can see some film grains on the darker parts of the movie. The lighting is simply fantastic. Its a good film transfer to hd dvd.

Tonight, I think i will be watching Batman Begins.

Shockingly Awesome !!

Just tried Bioshock yesterday night. What can i say, its just shockingly awesome game. It really reminds me of System Shock back in the good old PC games. Bioshock is a dark and kinda scary game and with the light switch off ... thats what i did, it can really gives u goosebumps. The music and sound effects on my 4.1 speakers are really great too, the game really gives u a surround stereo sound atmosphere. Perhaps its time for me to get a 5.1 speakers. Hmmm :)

For those who are reading my blog and had not tried out this game, please do so ... you will be amazed and will not regret adding it to ur collection ... either it be PC or Xbox360.

Btw .. this game also is the Game of the Year for the Spike's Video Game Awards that was held recently.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Is that time again, where everyone is in a joyful mood. Yea .. it's Christmas. As u all know, i got an early Christmas present for myself which is a Xbox360 hd-dvd external drive


and im luvin every minute of it. So far the movies i watch it hd were Transformers, Aeon Flux, King Kong (MUST watch) and V for Vedentta. I was thinking of buying Harry Potter Year 1-5 hd-dvd collector's boxed edition, looks really cool but abit expensive.


Well ... it has been 2 weeks since i order my Transformers hd-dvd from Play-Asia and until now, it has not arrived. I hope it will be today. The one i watched belongs to Zerg.

2 great movies back to back

When out with Jaz and his frens to watched I am Legend and National Treasure: Book of Secrets back 2 back. We watched it at The Summit USJ. To bad that I am Legend was not on the THX cinema but National Treasure: Book of Secrets were. Both are good movies but I am Legend was kinda fast but entertaining. I would recommend watching it. Damn tired and sadly I have to get back to work.

Another HD-DVD into my collection

Yeah .. thats right, I have added yet another hd dvd movie into my collection. This month has been a crazy month for me over hd dvd movies, since this month there's no Xbox360 games to buy ... im spending my time watch movies. After watching The Dark Knight trailer, I told myself I had to get it, yupz .. u guessed it, its Batman Begins.

The Batman Begins sequel called The Dark Knight has finally release a trailer for the fans. This time is darker as ever, which I like it alot and that the way Batman movies should be. Batman will face off with Joker in this sequel. Also Batman has a new toy :)

Got my hd-dvd external drive from Gamers Hideout yesterday as my Xmas present. I know its abit early but who cares. Along the way, I also manage to sell off my Halo 3 limited edition and lend Transformers hd-dvd from Zerg, could not wait for my one to arrive from Play Asia. When straight back home and try it out. I was very surprise after watching it and notice the film is super sharp and crystal clear and also the sound it awesome eventho im using 4.1 speakers.

Some parts of the film I did not even notice in the cinema cuz it was kinda blurry but on the HD-DVD, i was shock to have seen it. Im glad i got the external drive. Now, I just have to wait for the rest of my hd-dvd movies to arrive to me. Next I will be watching the extra contents of Transformers. "More than meets the eye"

The new K.I.T.T and a new Knight Rider series

The new Knight Rider series will be shown on NBC next February 2008 with a special 2-hour movie event with a new K.I.T.T (Knight Industry Two Thousand). NBC will be using Ford Mustang Shelby K500 as their new super car in the series. Just hope it will not be the same faith for Journeyman and Bionic Woman. Here are some pictures on K.I.T.T.

Yea .. more HD-DVD for myself. Amazon is have this awesome deal, buy 1 free 1 promotion. So I decided to add 2 more HD-DVD to my collection and they are Lady in the Water and Superman Returns. Transformers and Stardust HD-DVD

Can wait for these two awesome HD-DVDs coming my way. 1st, Transformers HD-DVD is a must for all fans of the animated series and for all who will be getting a HD-DVD player soon. Im still waiting for mine to arrive from Play-Asia. My 2nd HD-DVD will be Stardust which will only be out on December 18, 2007. This movie also is a must for me, I when to see this movie with Zach a few months back and it was indeed awesome. Its a fantasy movie with a bit of sci-fi in it. XBOX360 New Year Paintball Battle

I have registered for this a few weeks back and decide to take a shot at it. This is my 1st paintball event and it will surely wont be my last. Me and the XBOX 360 community from LowYat.Net forums decided to have this event and its organize from a very good friend of mine, Aaron (better know as Alkt aka Quaker.My). This event will be held on January 13, 2008 .. thank goodness, I have already applied leave. The place will be at Isi Rimba, Zoo Negara .. yupz, is a jungle already and might have bloody sucking vampires .. errr .. i meant leeches :) We already have 30 players for this event and its full house already. Here are some pictures of the jungle that we will be having so much FUN :)



Now .. all I have to do is find some camo suit and Mosiguard (repellent to prevent leeches).

Grand Theft Auto IV "Move Up, Ladies" Trailer

The long awaiting Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA4) new trailer is finally up for download at various gaming website such as Team Xbox and Game Trailers. Mass Effect completed and GYM

This early morning at 2am, I finally completed Mass Effect (ME) but still got alot more Achievements to unlock for my Xbox LIVE Gamerscore. The ending truely is EPIC with an awesome space battle in the end. What will a sci-fi game without a EPIC space battle right. I will be continue this current character until I reach lvl 50 and 60 to unlock 2 more Achievements and I will aslo start a female character. Due to all this .. I will have to delay playing Assassin's Creed.

Speaking of gym on the title .. yea, I just started going to gym this morning. Started joggin from my apartment to my office, took me around 30mins, well .. is worth it. When reach office, I just head over to the gym .. yea, my company has a gym .. how sweet is that :). Did cycling for 20mins and also snowing (i dunno what's the machine called) for 15mins.

Then just hed back home after that.

Old Place Made New

This is Toybox (TB), is a boardgames, trading card games (TCG) and minitures specialty shop. I used to go there often last time but nowadays very seldom due to work. Recently I heard TB did a revamp on the and now it looks awesome. The place look like a typical coffee shop but its different. Most people hang-out the to either play TCG or boardgames but now TB has added Playstation 3 (PS3) into their list. Which I believe more people will be headed to TB soon, including myself, not just for the PS3 but for my friends there who I have not seen for ages.

XBOX 360 Dashboard Fall Update

Yesterday was the released of the fall update for XBOX LIVE dashboard update. A lot of new stuff has been added into it. One of the examples are you will be able to goto whoever is in your friends list and check out who is in their friends list .. how cool is that.

Mass Effect Game Guide + Artbook bundle

I try to resist ordering this from Play-Asia but in the end, I just could not ignored the temptation any longer. So i ordered it, around 15mins ago :) but I will take at least 1 week to reach here.

The is a special edition bundle which include the guide book and also the artbook for the XBOX360 game Mass Effect. The reason I order this because is mostly for the artbook. Since there's no way for me to get the game's collector's edition, I just would have to settle down for this. The artbook consist of 192 pages with art concepts and commentary by the creators of Mass Effect. Here are some pictures that was taken from Amazon by a person who already got the thing. This just makes my drool.

Now i just would have to wait patiently for it to arrive at my doorstep.

OST Halo 3

The title says it all, I just recently got my OST Halo 3, its a soundtrack for the imfamous game with the same title. Thanks to my fren, Zerg who got it for me. I will be collecting it next week only since im only free by then.

Mass Effect Finally Arrived

Yup, it finally arrived. I just got the game today delivered to my office. Cant wait to get back home and play the game, err .. feel like taking half-day leave but I will not cuz my fren needs to go back home early .. dammit .. LOL :)

Anyway, im not worried cuz I have time to play it tonight till the break of dawn.

Xbox Live turn 5IVE and Assassin Creed

Cant imagine it has been 5 years now. Yea, XBOX Live has finally turn 5 and Im still with it until now, paying monthly subscribtion fee to be able to play my XBOX360 games via online with my friends. There will be lotsa game .. mostly old XBOX games that will be playable on the XBOX360, such as the most popular onces are Halo: Combat Evolved and Fable. The best thing is for gamers who subscribe XBOX Live since 2002 (im not sure im in) will get 500 MS points to spend in XBOX LIVE Marketplace.

Lets move on the my newest game that im playing currently. Its called Assassin Creed. The game as always, its awesome ... both graphic wise and gameplay. Sneak around killing ppl and assassinate never look so much FUN before. Im still at the beginning of the game. Nothing much to write about it right now. Right now ... im just waiting patiently for Mass Effect, a RPG game from the creators of KOTOR series and Jade Empire and the game will be arriving in 2 more days.

Lastly in my blog entry will be on TV series, mostly TV series will be ending at episode 8 in their latest season and will continue after Christmas and early next year. Heroes will be ending their season 2 finale on December 3, 2007 due to writer strike which started last week. Sarah Sidle leaved CSI Las Vegas in episode 8 which was just aired yesterday. Journeyman latest episode was delayed and will be aired tomorrow.

Im going to London

Honestly, im not going to London, well .. I wish I could. The whole "im going to London" phrase is this new game I just bought which is called Hellgate London by Flagship Studios. Its a RPG/MMO kinda game from the creator of the Diablo 2 series. This game set in London which is currently in hell-ish chaos, where demons and necro rise up to take over and conquer London, and we The Hellgate Alliance, must stop them at all cause.

Got this game from The Software Boutique (TSB) early this afternoon after both of us pre-ordered the game last week. Before my decision to buy this game, I tried out both the beta test and also the demo, the final verdict, I love every minute of it.

Here are some pictures I taken earlier of HGL. I got the Limited Collector's Edition, which comes with the game DVD, the bonus DVD (featuring the making of ... and also the soundtrack), a very nice looking poster (mine its a templar), a 108pg DarkHorse Hellgate London graphic novel and a Hellgate Alliance iron-on patch.

Some changes

As you guys can see, i have made my blog template today to a Halo 3 theme instead of a XBOX 360 theme. Im really a Halotard right now. I even did some changes to my room, I just bought an open cabinet just to put my 360 games and also the Master Chief helmet. Recently, the Hari Raya festival was upon us. Many of my muslin working frens were on leave for the festival which I had to work extra hours just to replace them, which I do not mind exactly, more pay is always better .. if u know what i meant.

Came across the while i was surfing the net today. It look awesome but as always, I cant get it here. US always gets the good stuff.

Btw, here are 2 games with is a MUST buy for me in November 2007

COD4 : Modern Warfare is a first person shooter (FPS) tactical game, it not as fast as Halo 3 but I will like it anyway. My last FPS tactical game was Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Mass Effect its a role-playing game (RPG) by Bioware, the same peeps who brought Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic series and Jade Empire. Mass Effect will be the best RPG for this year.
